First PayPal doesn't work for her, then she says she has no money and that she wont get paid until next week. She then asks if she can send a check, but not to put the check in until the end of the month because she has more important bills to pay. I don't know why this lady bidded on my collectibles if she has no money. What a hassle. How do I get rid of this fart-head and go to the next bidder without getting a bad review?

for you, send an unpaid item reminder. After the 8th day you can get your final value fee back.

I'd just tell them that if they don't make the payment by a certain date that I will be relisting the item or offering it to the next highest bidder. If you don't already, I'd list that in the item descriptions from now on letting people know that payment must be received in a certain amount of time. I think you can still file a non paying bidder with ebay also, you just can't leave negative feedback...

The way ebay works now she can leave you a neg regardless. If you specified a time frame in your terms you could tell her that she needs to pay sooner or you'd like to move on to the next highest bidder, but it's up to her and it sounds like she's not very reasonable.
The only neg I ever got was from a buyer who never paid and then got mad when I left them a neg. I could have paid something like $30 to have someone from Ebay decide whether to remove my neg or not after a review.
Basically you need to be almost threatening in your description regarding payment. I accept Paypal only w/ immediate payment. If they don't use BIN I require payment within 3 days.
You can't leave a neg for a buyer anymore so if they don't pay within three days I kill a puppy for every day they don't pay. I end up wasting more money on the puppies, but, really, what's more reasonable than that?

IMO negatives mean less and less as Ebay screws up....I mean "changes" their rules every time.

I used to worry about negatives, but now days, if someones going to be a dumb ass, im going to treat them as such and could care less if they give me a BS neg.

They used to, but I don't know if that has been superceeded now, with the new stuff ups, I mean 'changes'. Sorry 'bout that nash. :lol

cool..i did that about 2 weeks ago...can they leave a negative feedback?

They can. I had a person buy something from me, never sent any payment and left me a neg. I submitted a non payment to ebay, buyer never responded to it, ebay took away the neg and credited me back.

eBay has been a real pain in the ass with the new rules. I have never gotten more deadbeat bidders on auctions since they changed the feedback system for sellers. High bidders just don't seem to care now since a seller can't leave them a negative. I had 3 deadbeat auctions out of 40 last month, and am expecting 2 more out of the last 20 auctions I ran. Really irritating to keep having to relist things...

This has really gone down hill since the new feedback system change, I didn't realize until after reading this thread...

i dont know about now but before if you got negative feedback on unfair terms you could take it up with ebay and get it removed

Is there a way of blocking memberID's from bidding on ur auctions, sorry I've never really sold anything on eBay only bought?

i dunno, is there any way of searching for ebay IDs / other ebayers

Oh yeah, you can go on the community link for eBay and find the memberIDs.

If you and the buyer agree not to complete the transaction (what I did in a similar situation with a buyer) no one gets negative feedback or a strike. I would offer that alternative, then you can relist or sell the next highest bidder and not loose fees.

But if they won't agree to that, then follow the non-paying bidder procedure. I think if it comes out in your favor they can't leave feedback... but not 100% on that.
