Reggie just finished painting and putting on the
hair for my new Roy Batty custom.

Looks pretty good. I just need to do some more
custom work to the leather trench and he should be ready to go.
I have the correct pants, shirt is real close, just white instead of grey and
the shoes and undershorts are dead on.

With the great experience I had with the last Enterbay body, I
think Roy would fair well on a 2.5 BL body. Then he can be shirtless
and still look good. Though a little more cut, still better than a Hot Toys
body for looks. Plus I can put a spike through one of those life-like enterbay hands.

What do you think?

I'll post more pictures as I start to finish him up.

Great work so far, by the way. I think the "real" hair works really well.

I would be concerned that the BL 2.5 would be too short for Rutger Hauer... I was thinking the Lee body was on the short side?

But great looking start. I have the Android 001 figure... which is decent, but certainly not anything to write home about.

Forum member Batty sucks

F U Toe.

Even if it's true. :(

Aha. So you admit it? It is true! Well spotted Toe. Aside from the display of emotion, we have a replicant amongst us.

Great job IKE-CON. I love the rooted hair AND eyebrows. Looks great. Good to see you decided to omit the emotion factor or you'd end up with a Batty that sucks too. :lol

I'm okay with it being a little short. It's still the best body to display
him in just his shorts and shoes. All the other bodies look to fake.
The enterbay BL body is the only one that I can do
a custom repaint for the bloody wet look on, that will look real.

You'll see when I'm finished. :D

Almost done. Just need to finish shirt and I can put full outfit on
him. He looks great now painted up like the end scene. I've given
a real metal shaped carpet tack (with rust and everything) driven
through his hand and a little Pris make-up on his face.
Not to mention the blood trails he had in the last 10 minutes of
the film. I used different freeze frames from the Blu-ray DVD to
get it right. Then diluted some of the blood so it look like it was
washing off in the rain.

I fixed the neck hole to fit the Enterbay BL 2.5 body perfectly with
high powered magnets in the head and on neck post. As you can
see, it looks much more natural than the Hot Toy's body I had it on before.

Check him out now and let me know what you think....:D
After he's finished(sometime this next week) I will do full updated pictures.

He looks great with the 2-5 body. His neck looking a little long is the only thing that sticks out (sic) to me.

By the way, this custom Batty is awesome. One of the best custom I have seen, lov the real hair and facial expression.

Great work, that looks amazing!

If I can offer some feedback on this one it would be to shorten the hair on the top sides some. Hauer had more of a receeding hair look. Also, you should add the tattoos on his chest!

Thanks

Good work! I think the shoulders could be a bit wider though. Batty needs a bit more 'mass'. Not easy to find an appropriate body I think.

Not easy at all. But this body really allows him to show well just in
his shorts and shoes and fully dressed. So at the moment, it the
best choice.

The hair is easy to fix. I just wanted to nail the rest first. Now that the
clear coat is on the hair and it won't be moving around like before, I can trim
it back in area's to make it look spot on. I wasn't sure at first if he was going to get the wet hair look. Now I know and can finish the look off. :D

I was going to do the tatts, but there are so many and most are so small,
I thought it would just look messy.

Well, for all extensive purposes I'm finished. Just waiting on the dove
to arrive, but all the work is done.

Here's some finished photos as he appears dressed.
I really had some great pictures of the Trench coat to go by,
so I have a lot of detail that's even hard to see in the
movie. I also have 2 hands ready made for spike and a extra
spike.
