I guarantee they used up alot of the Reg editions as replacements...Mine was...This will be the lowest edition sized 1/6 lotr maquette when you add it up I bet...alot of damaged pieces that wont see the light of day

I wonder how many of the 1300 arrived to SS damaged? It could have been a matter of piecing together whatever they could to cover the pre-orders. I would be interested to know how many actually made it to collectors?

me too...I'm really curious myself...my returned exclusive was destroyed by SS I was told

I think it was both packaging and the sculpt iteslf...It was just too delicate and easily broken

The TWK is an amazing piece and I consider myself very lucky to not have any issues.

Sideshow seems to be getting pretty ambitious with some of their designs lately. Hopefully they've learned from the TWK situation and will put more thought into the packaging next time.

I'd hate to see them hold back on their designs because of packing concerns.

Wow. I'm amazed and relieved my one made it all the way across the oceans without any damage. My one #42 ex was packed inside another box with foam corners for e extra protection. The packaging was very unique. I think they repacked this in house because they cut holes all over the place to make it work. Miniminimal foam but enough foam supported the body and the base. Styro feel out everywhere. It was a very scary unboxing. I just checked him over and put him back. Took lots of pics to see how he sat back in the box before taking him out. I'm glad I have him. This piece will become rare with all the damaged ones out there. Pictures to come. Only of him in the box. Was too afraid to set him up as display area not ready.

Any other brothers and sisters from abroad got theirs okay? I hope so. The crown spikes are a little bent. How can I fix this without breaking it.

FINALLY got my missing ex hand after over a month of waiting. I also removed the plastic tube in the neck hole like fremen did, now the head fits snuggly on the body without a giant gap.

Finished another shelf, guess the theme is just generic fantasy since i got a few licenses in there.

I am happy now.

yes it is, i looked over and realized how fragile this statue is with all the polystone cloth hanging out everywhere all glued on. It is a miracle nothing was broken.

Even if some parts are broken its really hard to tell.
But yeah mine was great. Now if I do ever sellit it will be a nightmare.
