Seriously, seems the entire existing line is being closed out at fire sale prices. Makes me very leery of buying full retail, in fact I doubt I will buy a piece directly from them again. Oddly encouraging and discouraging at the same time.

Alot of online 1/6 retailers do this at the end of each year to make room for the next year's stock. Some of the place places are literally run out of a small office building or occassionly one's own house so as you can imagine that inventory starts to bulk up after a while.

Thing is, if everyone waited for bargain basement sales there would no more figures.

It's risky. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. You won't see exclusives sold this way, and you take a chance on something going on sale much later. Two of Blu's things he ordered from Supernatural have been cancelled. He thought he had them, but seems they sold out before his order was processed.

Regardless of what others say, you make a valid point. I've wondered the same myself, except I like the exclusive option if there is one. Otherwise, probably best to order from dealer b

where are you seeing these sales, which retailers in particular? thanks

Sideshow has impeccable CS

And you get SS points

Also it's been like a year or two since these items were first released? That's not really comparable is it?

"why bother with Sideshow, when I might be able to get select items cheapers two years from now?"

I wipe my ass with dollar bills so saving a bit of money doesnt really matter to me.

I would not say that SS has impeccable customer service since other members of this board (including myself) have not always experienced that.

Yesterday I was at a shop in Tulsa and they had Legolas and Aragorn (looked complete, not sure if still sealed) for $24.99 each!!! Made me feel a bit sick :monkey2

for the thrill of getting your order in quickly - the thrill of the ride

Also there are SS points to consider.

Are you serious? I just stopped by Amok Times (I live just down the road from their store) and they still have Legolas and Aragorn for $95 EACH!!!
