Just checked, and including the incoming CoolProps P2 1:1 bust, I've only picked up 3 things from Sideshow in the last 12 months.

Mostly due to concerns/issues with Sideshow's QC.

Bought other stuff though - just not from Sideshow.

I'm right there with you, I haven't bought the Superman PF because of the leaning concern and skipped a couple others because of the final paint app.
I felt like I got burned hard on the Big Chap Lsb and have been weary ever since.

the last pred lsb was nothing like the proto either :| seems a fair number of people were happy enough with it (i thought it was ****, especially the damage mark on his forehead) but it certainly was nowhere close to the advertised standards, don't expect it to look as good no matter the cost

Yeah - I'll admit I was one of those

After the issues with the goofy teeth on the unmasked P1 and the kindergarten paintwork on reg & savage P2 scalps, I was pleasantly surprised when the masked P1 arrived.

Given the long lead time and increased cost on the Wolf LSB, I'm obviously hoping this will arrive with an improvement in quality AND QC.

Yeah, I was glad that I waited for in hand pics of that one. I've now seen it in person a couple of times and was shocked at the poor quality. I jumped on one of these that I'm having professionally painted because I don't trust Sideshow to not **** up a dog alien LSB. I'm done buying alien products from them. However, I am one of the schmucks who was satisfied enough with the Masked Hunter LSB despite the ridiculous sun on his forehead. So I've ordered the Wolf and I'm still praying for a miracle to happen in regards to the Elder.

The Dog Alien bust above looks like the one that the guy on FB sells for $3000. No way I'm paying $3000 for a bust, no matter how good it looks. Hopefully SS will make a Dog Alien 1:2 bust.

It would make sense for the lsb line since they already made big chap and warrior but who knows when or if they'll ever get back to it. Not to mention even if they do it's not going to look anywhere near as good as the one above. You get what you pay for.

The base shape is so off on that dog alien bust. But with the fantastic paint, it looks nice though, however, no way it's worth that much, not even close to half.
Other than those collectibles which are cast from original props, the longer u wait the better one comes.

$3000 is for the 1:1 scale Dog Alien bust, this is just a 1:2 scale. I actually really love half scale busts, as they are much easier to display. I was also going to say that they are way cheaper, but the Wolf bust shows that isn't always the case!

Edit: I just noticed that the Wolf bust is now out of stock at Popcultcha. Maybe stock is slowly drying up.

I love 1:2 scale too. They just fit anywhere. The only life size busts I have are the Terminator T-600, T-700, and T-800. Luckily the big T-600 fits in a Besta. My Predator and Alien 1:2's all fit in a Besta, hence preferring them.

I actually prefer the 1:2 Predator 2 bust over the new life size, even with its shortcomings.

Given how good a job SS have done with Wolf, I'd like to see them revisit the line and re-do them all to this standard! Love the 1:2 bust format. I didn't go for this guy however, as I'm thinking I'll stick to the classics. A masked Wolf in 1/2 scale may sway me though...

Exactly, remember the P2 paintjob looked great on the prototype and production pieces were poorly done.
