That's my interest killed, I kept thinking worst case was $500 and I was trying to talk myself into being okay with that, but $650 they make it laughably easy to pass on. Beautiful bust, but that price is outta my league.

As did I, although I wasn't quite predicting this level of crazy.

I'm relatively forgiving of the questionable paint apps we often receive. But at this kind of price, this HAS to look like the prototype when it arrives, it just has too. That or we need kits at a much discounted rate...

I'd expect a noticeable increase in price tag for the Predator Maquette and also standard comics PF and such.

I think we're past testing the waters, the PF's recently blew past the magic 500 number we've all been fearing for years and kept on going (Kylo $570!) I think the plan is clear, sell for more and keep them in the USA as much as possible, cheaper to deal with returns etc I suppose. I'd be half tempted on this if I had free shipping and no import duty, it would still be a struggle to justify paying that much for an LSB, but it's better than paying close to $900 which is what international folk will likely be paying assuming a $90 shipping cost.

True, but that seemed limited to Star Wars. This time around, I think hikes will be spread out between licenses - Marvel, DC, Alien, Predator. Maybe not as crazy as with this bust, hopefully.
Agreed about what seems like their tactic, cheap marketing like "free" shipping (built into the price so not free at all), double rewards, encouraged domestic buyers while internationals get the stick as usual.
Man, how I'd want to be face to face with those talking about conspiracy theories just a pair of pages ago... To slap them.

I was actually going to pull the trigger at the $500 price point but $650 even with free shipping ( saw some people saying that not sure how true that is ) it is a little steep for me. I do have $50 in reward points that I did not plan on spending anyway....maybe it will make justifying getting it a little easier but still $600....ouch.
