Oh wow me likey! Can I have one for PO please? I've been waiting for a wolvie forever. Never liked the yellow one had it but traded him away. Wasn't feeling the yellow retro style. XM is excellent but have no clue how or even what to do to get one.

Wolverine looks good, probably better that it'll be fully sculpted (at least it looks that way). When fabric goes wrong it looks awful. I think SS will only do mixed media on certain "elements" on figures as opposed to full body socks now-days.

Like I said before... I tend to think this is maybe even I production... Or close to it... Especially with what looks like a varient pair of legs sitting right there. I will also say, and I mean no offense, but SSC isn't XM when it comes to industry muscle/pull. If this was close to being in production I am willing to bet we see it done.

Looks to be very much inspired by the Xmen vol 2 issue 1 jim lee cover.

Since its already painted I predict this will be on display at con with hopefully another xmen piece like Storm Magneto Archangel or Juggernaut

Also right beside that Wolverine is a unpainted resin sample. Judging from the process it looks like they are preparing to send a paint master over to China -- which could very much mean that this is already in the pipeline and production will begin this year.

Honestly, I am thinking that this is way further along that we might think. If they have a painted proto all up and running, remember this video could have been recorded awhile back. In the end SSC does business differently than XM. They don't usually tease things before they have the go ahead. Yeah it happens (Punisher BD Head, AOA Iceman switchout head), but not often with a full statue. This s a tease for sure.

Lead time is 2 years - this is already sculpted painted and "accidentally" out in the open.

50 bucks says its on display at the con.
