If the ES on a piece is rather large, the chances of converting are higher. However, if an EX ES is on the lower side (around 500), you can get left out in the cold. I didn't convert on the EX Skaar PF (luckily I was able to trade for it) and there are still peeps here who didn't convert on the EX Apocalypse PF. Given the higher EX ES on this piece, I'd say most peeps stand a good chance at converting. That all said, I wouldn't want to play the conversion game with a low EX ES piece.
