Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

Hey Wanderer: Just buy some blue navy RIT color dye for the Barney Ross Jeans, that's all.
I went with this choice for the jeans:
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350435525516&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Hopefully they'll fit fine. I'll let you guys know once they arrive.

Cheers Comm :clap Defo gonna try dying them darker. If that fails, i've eyeballed the same denim jeans you've gone with as an alternative! LOL All's being said though, i'm gonna go for the blood spattered weathered look so maybe Barny's jean'll work...

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

I have a suggestion to keep the costs down. :)

The claws can be come from the metal from your regular steel-book DVD cases. :clap It can always be repainted with silver, right?

i have no idea of what your talking about :D

and of course comics huge claws ;)

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

Fantastic work Hanouman!!! I love the fine detail and intense expression :rock :rock

And Buttmunch, that Barney body is going to look awesome with the sculpt on top of it; just a little bit jealous :lol

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

wow ok lot of people interested into the hand

ok the HS is almost finished

normally he's go to the caster at the beggining of the next week ( with my bluebbery HS :D)
after that i'll made some try to the hand with claws

for the claws we thinking to do them in metal but not sure yet

hope we can do it like that

for the price honestly i don't know, if we do the claws in metal it could certainly be more expensive

oh and i have in mind to do hands with bandages on them something like a muei thai boxer
i don't know why but i thinks it could be cool

let me know what you think
The bandages sound cool but you should also make them without as well, with just hair detail for those who want to have him in a more natural look.Either way, this is going to turn out AWESOME!:wink1:

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

Hanouman was talking about how the price of sculpting a pair of hands with metal claws will be expensive, probably because of the metal parts..

I suggested to use the metal found in a steel-book DVD (have you seen a DVD enclosed in a steel-book case?).. Cutting the metal of that case can yield many sets of claws.

Now, do you understand? :impatient:

:lol Me neither. Made no sense.

Anyhooo...metal comic claws sound awesome :panic:

I think that will look pretty cheap if you ask me :wave:lol

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

oh ok understand

but i think it's to thin to made cool claws

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

Well, I was just trying to suggest a cost-effective material, since you can probably paint it silver or something. Movin' on, then..

Well not sure if the costs will be low.
First you have to buy some stealbook dvd
secondly that is way to thin to make claws
third the time you will take to cut all those claws won't make the price cheaper
:wave

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

that looks INSANE!!!!

great work, man. truly great.

@lonewolf - only teasing, dude :lol it's not a terrible idea at all. i like people who think outside the dvd box. or steelbook case.

Re: WOLVERINE by Hanouman

That's cool, guys! :wave

So, what type of material was used in those claws? They blow away the Hugh Jackman version! :clap
