Are both feet flushed on the terrain or back foot slighty hanging in mid air?

I got this today, it's impressive that's for sure, great pose and presence in the room. The usual sideshow qc issues let it down. I have the facial stubble spray all over the nose which is just lazy **** at this price point. The paints apps and general workmanship is no better than a PF, which in itself isn't bad but for 2k this should be better.
I think I'll focus on LSF over PF from now on, hopefully the quality and value for money picks up.

Where's the belt?

Congrats on the pickup- though I'm sorry to hear about the QC issues.
Pics of it look great from a distance- but isn't that always the case. At this scale, and price level, the little flaws in the fit and finish can truly vex.

Where is the over-spray on the nose- mask or under the nose?
It looks like your shoulder guards came out well, at least. I remember the early ones had edge scraps that were way too large and regular. The last few I've seen have been much better in this area.

But I agree- if these don't merit an extra conscious effort in the craftsmanship and QC, what does?
They might as well just be pricing these by the pound.

Interesting in looking over your pics it looks like the left foot falls entirely inside the edge of the base, where the tip of mine overhangs the edge. Maybe it's just the angle of the pic?

Yeah, same here. After this and Galactus, I would much rather put my resources behind fewer, but much larger, statues.

Thanks guys, yes the right foot does not fit properly into the hole in the base. There is no peg on this foot unfortunately. With some pressure the foot swings over I think I will be able to adjust this back once it goes on display and or it will sit better once it is on display for a while.
Spray is on the nostrils and nose not the mask.
No belt because he is back in the box, my stuff is in storage :(
I got this for 2k at the Popcultcha xmas sale which considering our exchange rate, shipping and taxes was a bargain. Even tho it's over priced. If that makes sense lol.

Thanks for the info buddy. Are there any other Wolv LSF owner that can share some pics and thoughts on this as well :)

congrats buddie,it´s a great piece but the paint job could have been better,ss can make metal claws and some details with fabric that just kill me,
anyway this is already routine, although I did not like the QC sideshow ,the work of martin canale is outstanding and that is what I love ,
the study that this man does in each piece is sublime and not his fault that his works is being destroyed for 4 Chinese guys underpaid

I have also P.O and waiting for june but i can´t understand why SS can´t make a piece with the quality of a cinemaquette...but they put the same price or higher,i´ll repaint for sure

anyway is a very impresive piece but i like to talk about what i like and don´t like of the pieces, because critics make people become efficient

enjoy! :duff

Hope you like yours when it arrives Electroshock, it's really impressive, but the fact that it could very easily be better for the price is a shame.

I personally can't fault the quality of the statue. I think it's superbly done with intricate detail throughout. The size if it gives it presence and overall it's just the definitive Wolverine collectible to own. However, with that said, the price tag warrants something extra (for example an extra Headsculpt, switch out hand with bloody claw) just something other that what we recieved...maybe then we could say it deserves it's 2k price tag...

It looks fantastic. Not a huge wolverine fan but always loved this piece. Hope you have the opportunity to get it out of box and displayed the way it deserves soon. Congrats.

Cheers Arctic, I'm looking at having a place with dedicated geek room later next year. It's a pain in the *** taking every order out only to put it back :lol

That's great to hear and I feel you bud. I have a small space to display collectables right now in my bedroom till we get a bigger home which is probably a few years away. Only have one PF now but as I get more I'll have to rotate them. I look forward to seeing your man cave once you get it set up. Happy new year.

You only have 1 Pf, but you got wolf lsf coming. Great collection already :)

Hi pal, yes...both feet are flat on the base. Not sure but I wonder if this problem is happening with those who recieved the Wolverine LSF from the second batch? I think those who recieved theirs from the first run never encountered this problem :dunno here is mine...

No LSF for me to big and pricey at the moment. 1 PF which is Deadpool and I have Batman and Superman on order. Thanks though my collections will hopefully double next month when Batman arrives. It was the first piece I ordered back on the first day it went up for PO. I am averaging about 1 PF a year lol.

May be hard to see the gap because of the flash, but here's the foot on mine (any gap on the right one is significantly less the left)

You wouldn't be seeing that dark underline to the sole of the boot if it were sitting flush on the base.

gap aside (and to be honest, it doesn't bother me a whole lot)- one of my favorite parts of this statue are the way the boots have been done- both the sculpting and paint. Love the mud splatter- and a great job on capturing the correct form of the foot and getting the compression wrinkles at the joint looking right. Beautiful texture as well- and at this scale you can truly appreciate it.

The boots are something that really sold this piece to me love the detailing on them. Mind you it's wolverine so I would have been getting it either way lol
