Wolverine Legendary scale figure??!!!

I agree. Excuses once you pass the $2,000 price mark should be kept to a minimum when it comes to trying to make the most complete package you can.
I think it has to do with logistics in production and paint. Notice how his mouth is closed a bit akward like the Batman 1:1 bust to avoid painting/detailing inside his mouth or teeth. Perhaps the effort to paint an unmasked head with detail deserving of the LSF line is not feasible at $2,000. It may even bump the price up to $2,500. Now, the question that they ask themselves is: how many do we sell at $2,000 Vs. how many do we sell at $2,500 with an extra head?
Doom LSF: 2 masks, a facial portrait with scarring demanding of a good paint job, cloth, large detailed base....just amazing. I could ask for a tweak here or there but it would be nitpicking. It is a more complete package than the Wolverine LSF. I also wish a brown outfit would have been made available. Dark yellow/brown is more forgiving in this scale than bright blue/yellow.

That's a good way to look at it.
I would have seriously considered buying this one if they included the other head.
I know I would've if they added at least one other sculpt. They added a much more complex sculpt and a switch out weapon for a 1/3 wolf pred, so doesn't make sense that they couldn't have done it for this. Look at all those dreads on the pred.

they should include unmasked head.....
They cannot possibly reveal that awesome head sculpt and then choose to not add it to the package. Maybe SS is saving that up for an "exclusive" release

why not SS always think abt their collectors .... just see Elder Predator statue they added Mandible ring & extra screen accurate sword without any info....
