A flipper is someone who buys a piece only to make a profit off of its speculated value. I believe they are mocking someone on the board that really hates flippers and says that flippers are anti-super heroes and that flipping makes Captain America sad.

so they sell above normal price? i don't understand it is same price for all from website? how do they sell?

The pieces are limited edition, especially the exclusive versions and ones with small edition sizes (they only make like 100 or 150 of them). They sell out on Sideshow's website and demand goes up for the piece, so people are willing to pay high prices to have it.

Don't be a profiteering jerk.
If the piece doesn't mean much to you, let someone in line who really wants it get it at cost.

I haven't flipped any of my stuff. I just buy pieces that I know I'll enjoy. I've contemplated trading something rare for something else rare, but that's about it.

It's part of the hobby. I want a Donatello EX, but I wouldn't expect someone to sell me one for cost due to its rarity. If I want one, I've gotta pay the price that's been determined by the market.

And now with the Reg only being 400 (production mistake), its value is going to go up.

And flipping does make Captain America sad.

Honestly, neither. But between the two, I'd say Wolverine. More dynamic. Gambit just.....stands there. I'm not liking the museum pose trend. At all.

i agree!i was waiting gambit to be much much better...

Selling my Donatello EX for cost was such a major FAIL...I am going to be kicking myself in the ass for years to come. :monkey2:monkey4:monkey2

Nah, Gambit PF blows Wolvie out of the water! Only reason to go with Wolvie over Gambit is character popularity.

I completely agree! Who cares if Gambit is just "standing there?" Look at some of Sideshow's best PF pieces: Doom, Captain America, Hulk...they don't have great dynamic poses but are the best pieces produced yet.
