I found myself with a spare Medicom body and as I had the unmasked Wolverine head from the Medicom figure , I decided to bash myself a Wolverine !
The body I am using is from the " Neighbor Number 13 " figure ( an obscure Hong Kong horror/revenge movie ) and as the character is an Asian teen , the body is quite small . I quite like the idea of this smaller physique as ,after all , Logan is quite often referred to as a "Runt" and is only meant to be about 5 foot 3 ! The headsculpt has a bit of a bad rep , as it is VERY "comic like " , but underneath lurks a good sculpt . I've started the paint process and already , it's looking pretty good ( in my opinion , anyway ). I've added Logan's trademark adamantium claws and tweaked a pair of D.M.L jeans to fit better . I scratchbuilt a belt using a scrap piece of pleather and a button . The shirt is a "Big Jim" item ( remember him ? ) and is over 30 years old ! ( It was originally just a "place holder " until I got him some more clothes , but I quite like it and it'll help bulk him up when I add his jacket . I'm also waiting for some cowboy boots .
His cigar is a bit of wooden barbecue skewer and I'll be adding a set of dog tags when I find a suitable bit of chain .
