Well, that was strange. Seller responded at 12:47 AM this morning.

"This item was noot mailed due to damage. We were in the process of getting it replace buyer the person that sold it to us who stated that they had a replacement. I am sorry if that was not made clear to you. I have been away from the store alot and have had to had whoever is in to cover the emails. Now that you have filed a claim please confirm that you want the refund or to wait a few more days for a replacement. If it is the item that you want I will refund the shipping as a token of how sorry we are for the poor service on this transaction. Please let me know. Thank you."

Then, just before heading off to work, at 7:25 AM I got this:

"I did not see a reply so I am refunding the amount in full like I said sorry for dropping the ball on this."


Never even had a chance to reply. Full amount has been refunded, including the $90 PP coupon I used.

Oh well, didn't seem to be that great of a deal anyway, have seen several afterwards sell for 300-400.
 
Amex is the best in terms of online protection IMO. worked for me everytime, no questions asked and didnt have to do anything more than talk to the rep for a few minutes at most.

Same here. When I feel something might go down wrong I use my AMEX. They have never failed me before.

It's definately worth that price. I got mine for $300 right after they started to ship.
