I don't understand the Girl Power thing. Must literally be a knee-jerk reaction to Hillary losing. I was watching TV the other day and everything is geared to women. Even Game of Thrones is run by its female leads. Seems really late to be chiming in with 'Girl Power' rocks.

...and I still say REY was girl power two years ago and JYN last year...i don't get it- just because it's a superhero? Lame

I dont think Jyn was girl power. She was the lead yes but she didn't pilot anything, use the Force, wield a lightsaber, or kill anyone significant. Sure she took out some Stormtroopers by herself but in SW terms that puts her about even with ewoks, lol. She was heroic simply for being fearless and willing to do things that others refused to do.

Possibly I suppose. But at least she wasn't a Mary Sue. I do agree that WW is hardly a frontrunner to the current trend of female heroes. Emma Watson's Belle is yet another character to beat her to the punch.
