Would you be pissed if T2 was edited to . . .

That's about what it would take... although I find I enjoy the movie more if I pretend I never saw it.

I'd vote no, Michael Edwards may only have been in it for a few a minute, but he is the first time John Connor was ever seen on screen so a lot of the look from the expanded universe has also been based around him, from the comic nuclear twilight (John is drawn as Michael Edwards) to the Sideshow mini-bust

why does everyone think that just because bale is in the new terminator movie, that it is gonna be the second coming? it could suck just like T3.

They could just let you select the T2 "classic" or T2 "Bale" version on the same disc.

I'm generally a purist, but this was such a tiny bit part in T2, I don't really have an issue with the filming the shots with Bale to maintain continuity.

Imagine if they'd kept edward furlong for T3 and onwards! He never did grow into a warrior veteran type did he. I'm not sure his voice even broke.

Have to say I wouldn't mind one way or the other, as long as any future DVD releases ALWAYS had both versions included.

Yes, I loved how Lucas did all those cool, funny things with the Star Wars films. The extended singing and dancing sequence in Jabba's palace, Han stepping on Jabba's tail, extra creatures in the background so you wouldn't get bored, etc.

Hard to imagine how I watched those ____ty movies before he made them good.

Like NAM said, I wonder if we'll ever see this series get a second chapter... It was far from perfect but there was enough Terminator goodness to make me happy.

With the license tied up in bankruptcy hell, I doubt it. Movie companies are retarded. They hang onto a license begging for more $$$ stating, "Hey, this license has value because Bale's attached!" Meanwhile it's tied up with lowball offers until the actor's no longer obligated and then becomes worthless.
