Yeah but heres my concerns...

That movie is old. Sideshow can do a better PF than the close-up effects done in the movie, so instead of purely "movie accurate" I'd hope they did it true to movie but not afraid for it to look better. Dont get me wrong the effects are great and were steak of the ark for that time :D

Since T2 pf is not BD T1 definitely should be. Light up eye with optional sunglasses would rock too!

SS has done a pretty killer job with Arnie likeness in the Conan and T2 PF's so I'd like to see more more more!

They wern't that bad. I doubt a statue could look any better than what they did back then and I definetely wouldn't want sideshow to change anything even if they thought they could improve upon it personally.
I mean look at this photo. I still prefer this look to most cgi crap used nowadays. The T800 looked better in the original than it did in Salvation imo.
:huh

Yeah I prefer it to CGI too. That shots not too bad. The one that sticks in my mind is when he is in the apartment and he checks his database for a reply "f you a-hole" lol. The close up was pretty weak but thats exactly the face I would want on him.

Any and all version of T1 would be a must buy for me. Even the Terminator doing his impression of Dr. Manhattan at Griffith Park.

I can just see guests coming over. "Why do you have a naked bodybuilder statue?"

"Cause it's the naked bodybuilder that says 'Bad Mother^^^^er' on it, that's why."

yep , that scene does appear to have shown its age but the major scenes ( at least imo ) look very good for when they were made.
The Police station shootout and the chase at the end in particular.
I think this scene is the worst special effects wise because of how close it is to arnolds face.

Stan Winston >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> CGI. Hell even the T-1000 at the end of T2 all blown to hell (grenade) was a real effect and not cgi'd.

I have NEVER liked CGI (Cartoons) and never will either.

CG has gotten pretty damn good, but you always know somehow that it's not really in front of the camera, and it destroys the real danger and threat the character is facing.

CG killed Santa Claus.:(

How have you seen the T800 in T4?!? It's not out in UK yet!

i know this is a dumb question how come no one has the ternimator 1 license ?

It's due to complications, many different people own various parts of The Terminator, it was due to how it was originally produced and sold with the various companies going bust etc.

Is one of the reasons why it took so long to make T2.

I don't own the T2 but I would be tempted to pick up a T1 PF. Of course I don't have any PFs yet I'd still probably buy a T1.. I'd be all over any 12" T1 figs also..... Hot Toys figs from a few years back are just too expensive on the secondary market now for me to ever own.
