Would you like a 1/6 figure of yourself

What with 3D photocopying/sculpting. It might not be too long before we can kitbash loads of different things. not just movie stars, icons etc. Maybe it would be weird though to have a 1/6 you or someone you know.

I think that it depends on the circumstances. If I was some kind of actor or celebrity and a mass produced figure was made based on my likeness as a character, I think that would be awesome, and I'd consider it quite an honor, but I don't think a one-off custom for my collection would be something I'd be interested in.

I once made a custom 1/6 GI Joe figure and had the intention of getting That's My Face to make a headsculpt of me to put on it. I never ended up having the money to do that, though. What is it, like 100 bucks for a 1/6 head? Not terrible, considering that it's custom and of you. But I wasn't ever in a position to spend that much, and by the time I had the money to do that, I ended up spending it on other figures and such.

I'm going to resurrect this dead thread just to show what happened when I made a figure of myself. The head is from That's My Face and the body is an Ignite Knight of Outremer II (and man, that was hard to find). To get the 'jokes' you have to know that my thesis was on the First Crusade and I volunteer on community radio. Enjoy.

Its seriously one of my most wanted things. itsmyface.com is out there and affordable but honestly they sculpts aren't the best. They're kinda pixelated looking and faded. There is someone thats posted a few of them on FB. Those looking pretty good. Im thinking about it.
