That has to go both ways, of course. I assume that's what you're saying.
If there is one thing I absolutely detest politically it's a double-standard of any kind.
Agreed, but that is one tough thing to avoid in politics.
EDIT. Saw the last video. Are those Obama supporters? Cause they seem like a group Obama would want NOTHING to do with. That does deserve a wow though.
No it's not. All you have to do is engage things rationally and fairly. The problem is rationality is the first thing that gets tossed out the window in almost all political discussions (especially among those with strong views on each side). And once that's gone, all bets are off.
Also, no debate is ever won (and no discussion ever reaches a true conclusion) when one or more of the parties relies on emotion instead of rationality. But, again, that's what happens 98% of the time. And that's why politics SUCKS.
Well said man. I absolutely DETEST how things end up like that. Why can't people behave like they have half a brain and just act like rational human beings? Is it too much to refrain from personal attacks and sharp hurtful comments? I guess it's too much for some people....
Seriously, Carl... One of my favorite posts from you. Well said indeed.
A. I'm not a republican.
B. From your post I guess it's impossible it goes both ways?
i just think it is lame that the initial reaction is to find what you feel is similar fault.

if you dont vote obama your a racist
I don't think that's what the point of the article is (assuming you're referring to that - though I think you're being facetious). The point is that when you whip people up into a frenzy calling another candidate un-American or a terrorist, you attract a certain fringe element that is really undesirable in any context.
That Rev Wright clip wasn't really WoW - Hillary doesn't know what it is to grow up as a black male raised by a single white mother in a society run by rich white men? meh, there are worse. Not nearly as creepy as the guy laying hands on Sarah Palin blessing her from witchcraft.
Not sure what you point is - the guy was a foreign delagate. What was she supposed to do ? Run screaming from him or insult his religeon. So much for tolerence eh ?
I guess its only to be tolerent of particular religeons is it ?
I love it when Rev. Wright builds to a boiling crescendo in most of his stand-up routines (sorry, that's what I have to call them) with... "RICH!.... WHITE!.... PEEEEPALL!!!!!!!!!!!" I'm serious, I think that's hilariously funny and I laugh every time.
