Those mistakes were made by the bosses above them at Hasbro now. The corporate guys made those decisions not the design team. In fact a few of the old Toy Biz guys already quit Hasbro and went to work with Mattel.

I'm not surprised by that Mattel is doing much better work, even though the DCSH line has yet to go outside Batman and Superman, the figures they've produced recently have been great.

I love the new Bizarro, Mongul and Parasite and I'm hoping they release a Joker really soon.

I'm in the minority here when I say I like the SM3 figures. I have bought a few and I have no qualms about the scale.I don't buy the figures with the "action features" but mostly the ones that have the super-poseable features.

Of course I'll pick up the ML Spidey 3 line as well (which is geared for collectors) but Hasbro has said that this line is GEARED towards kids and that's the main audience for these figures.

And Hasbro really does well with catering to and recognizing the importance of the collectors, their upcoming ML Spidey 3 line is acknowledging that and lets not forget how much they've put into the Star Wars line as well as continuing Marvel Legends even though they could just as easily can it.

Mattel sucks in all honesty.Yeah I won't deny that their DC Superheroes figures are well done and I have a few, but they like "playing it safe" and won't go to such lengths as increased articulation and recognizing the collectors like Hasbro has.Mattel's bread-and-butter is Hot Wheels and Barbie and outside of that they don't have to try very hard.

I have seen these at Walmart and they do suck! Scale, quality - kids get no respect these days.

I have been wanting to get an 'ultimate' 6" Spiderman figure, but I do not think one exists.....unless you all have a recommendation on one I do not know about...:D
