Re: (Possible) X-FORCE Movie announcement at SDCC 2013

Are they going to cast Ryan Reynolds and finally do Deadpool?

I guess that depends on which team they do. Deadpool was only part of the Remender team. Which I think would def work on screen as they are very different personalities. Killers yes, but each brings something unique to the table. Plus his run was possibly the best run of the book ever.

I just want my Deadpool. I don't care if Comic nerds want to kill the director. Give me what I want. :lol

He doesn't have to be part of the team, he could just be introduced, in fact, having him go against the team may be a greta way to introduce him and wash the "ick" out of W:O.

If they recast him, I think Sam Rockwell would be great if he buffed up. In 7 psychopaths, his voice kept reminding me of Deadpool from the Wolv vs Hulk cartoon.

If you have never read it, I highly recommend it. Deadpool to me was the standout character. Remender found great ways to balance out the wacky, and still show you the man Wade really is. I never grew tired of him in that book, and i am not a Deadpool fan in any way.

Would love to see Omega Red as a villain.

This will be really exciting, seeing and X-Force series of movies and an X-Men series and then big threat that brings them together like in Messiah War and Necrosha

I'm more excited about the talk of a solo Magneto film being put back on. I was bummed when it became joined with First Class (although that film was great) and would love to see more Fassbender in that role.

The more mutants the better as long as the films are quality. Maybe we can get Vaughn back to do one of them.

Re: (Possible) X-FORCE Movie announcement at SDCC 2013

I can't wait to see which mutants they pour into the bingo spinner and randomly select to be in the team.

Re: (Possible) X-FORCE Movie announcement at SDCC 2013

The rumoured director/writer for this directed KickAss2 and judging by the most recent trailer, this movie is in good hands

Re: (Possible) X-FORCE Movie announcement at SDCC 2013

Yes. From the director of Never Back Down and Cry_Wolf....:lol

Why don't you wait for Kick-*** 2 before you get excited for this. :lol

"Kick-*** 2 director Jeff Wadlow is currently writing the script for an "X-Force" adaptation and confirms that he hopes to direct the film when he finishes the screenplay. Said Wadlow, “I’m pretty deep into it,” Wadlow told me during an exclusive interview. “I have the whole story completely worked out. I’m about 20 pages into my draft. If I wasn’t promoting Kick-***, I would probably have a draft [already], but Kick-*** is going to slow me down just a little.”

Wadlow refused to reveal who would be included on the team's roster (at times, both Wolverine, Cyclops, Cable and others have led the squad) but did tease, "Here’s the thing, I love the current run of Uncanny X-Force. I love the classic run. Part of my take was addressing this idea that X-Force can be many different things, and that’s what got the studio excited. I think the fans will be excited, too.”

It would be a smart and popular idea for them to announce they'd be releasing a PG-13 cut for general audience and an R-rated for fans of the comic, or alternativley announced an R-rated cut would be release for home entertainment
