I thought the bases were designed to fit together.

Yes. The blue color really helps, doesn't it? Even if there's a hand, and a boot, if it weren't for the head on top of the VS # 1 diorama, it's hard to tell that there's a Sentinel lying in the mud.

Good luck with that! Why not try to display them diagonally on a three story cabinet or something? Personally I don't like them displayed so close to each other.


I wonder if it'll ever work to sell them as a set. Would a collector put down that much cash for buying the three together? What would the price be? $2000?

Thanks for the link. I know I keep looking at it but it's just too much with everything else that's coming out this year.

Realistically, it would be best if #3 and #1 were opposite ends from each other. The logic would be that #1 is the head, and it goes to show that #2 is the chest, and #3 is the feet. So, keeping them in a layout that way would make the most sense.

HOWEVER, when you're talking about kicking butt on a Sentinel that's standing up, where all his parts end up after getting trashed is moot.

Bottomline, you can probably argue your case in any combo arrangement you choose.

Good question.

The first 24 issues of Astonishing X-Men are out, and they left a cliff hanger to be resolved (shocking I know) in the next issue which is going to be one of those 80 page giant deals. Marvel recently released an Astonishing X-Men poster which includes a lot of charactors other than the main six, so I guess we'll see if this takes off and broadens or not. I'd like to see more Astonishing dio's, but at the same time 3 is enough.

I haven't seen anything official one way or the other that I can recall though.
