This intrigues me. This was posted just before the Fox panel began. Any guesses as to what it could be?

Silas Lesnick: "They're teasing that they're going to do something they've never done in Hall H before and that they're going to take a special photo of the entire crowd to prove it happened. No idea what they're planning!"

Oh so thats what the huge surprise was, Bryan Singer managed to finally envoke emotions from one of his actors.

:lol

EricVespe: X-Men: Days of Future Past footage about to screen. In 3D.

Silas Lesnick: We see flashes of the original X-Men movie characters

Silas Lesnick: Xavier, Storm, Wolverine, etc

Silas Lesnick: "I had a glimpse into the past," Xavier says.

Silas Lesnick: Iceman. Rogue.

Silas Lesnick: Bishop!

Silas Lesnick: We hear Magneto speaking to Xavier

Silas Lesnick: Xavier says to Wolverine, "You're going to have to do to me what I once did for you."

Silas Lesnick: "Side by side to end this war before it ever begins," says Magneto.

Silas Lesnick: Xavier warns him that, back then, Xavier was a different man and begs him to be patience with him

Silas Lesnick: "Patience isn't one of my strong points," Wolverine snarls.

Silas Lesnick: Lot's of flashes to the 70's.

Silas Lesnick: Nixon and a secret door in the Oval Office floor.

Silas Lesnick: McAvoy's Xavier going into Cerebro.

EDouglasCS: Omar Sy looks great as Bishop

Silas Lesnick: Other footage shots include Mystique crying and transforming in a crowd. We also see Lawrence walking in a military uniform.

Silas Lesnick: "I don't want your suffering," MacAXavier shouts. "I don't want your future!"

EricVespe: Looks like Days of Future Past starts in the war-torn future and has Wolverine sent back mentally to his younger body

EricVespe: Footage ended with Old Professor X face to face with young Professor X, pleading. "We need you to hope again."

devincf: Bishop looks really dumb in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. #SDCC

ErikDavis: "I don't want your suffering. I don't want your future!" DAYS OF FUTURE PAST footage teases shots of everyone & a real grim tone. #sdcc

ErikDavis: My favorite shot was a shirtless Wolverine with bullet holes all over his body. Looked solid. Singer's style has evolved. #sdcc

adamchitwood: Footage from X-MEN was intense. Dark storyline. McAvoy playing a broken Xavier. They used Hans Zimmer's "Time" from INCEPTION as music #sdcc

Silas Lesnick: Omar Sy, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Peter Dinklage are here on stage!

Silas Lesnick: Nicholas Hoult is here, too. It's a MASSIVE lineup. I've never seen this many actors on stage for a Hall H panel.

adamchitwood: Literally every single cast member from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is on the Hall H stage. Crowd going nuts. #sdcc

ErikDavis: They just brought every member of all the X-Men out on stage. People freaked

bdgrabinski : Gotta give Favreau credit. He started the "bring the whole cast" thing with that amazing panel for IRON MAN in Hall H.

devincf: Michael Fassbender takes the stage in a You're Next mask.

EricVespe: The Dink gets a huge round of applause. Confirms he's playing Bolivar Trask.

ErikDavis: You're Next is getting great a marketing push on stage right now except no one knows what the mask is from. Fassbender found it backstage

EricVespe: Michael Fassbender wore the You're Next mask so he could watch the footage from the crowd.

EricVespe: Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are getting the biggest cheers of the Con so far. Yay for geeks.

adamchitwood: So great to see Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan together again onstage. Crowd going crazy for them. #sdcc

Huge applause for the Marvel logo coming across the screen. We begin with Xavier's voice (Patrick Stewart), then quick flashes of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm (Halle Berry), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore), Rogue (Anna Paquin), Kitty (Ellen Page), a "glimpse from the past." Bishop (Omar Sy), Thunderbird (Boo Boo Stewart) and Blink (Bingbing Fan) who looks straight out of the comic book. "Side by side to end this war before it ever begins," says the voice of the Professor. Wolverine is sent back into his younger body by both Xavier AND Magneto. Old Xavier says "I was a very different man. Lead me, guide me, be patient with me." Wolverine says, "Patience is my strongest suit." Lots of action Mystique shots, she's kicking ***. It's even Magneto vs. Mystique at one point! "We need you to hope again," old Xavier says to his younger self. Crazy applause.

Evan Peters introduced himself as Quicksilver and said, "I'm really fast." Peter Dinklage said, "I am Bolivar Trask."

Jennifer Lawrence said she's "getting closer to the [villanous] Mystique she's going to be."

Singer said he loves working with an ensemble, there's "a lot of interesting people and things to cut to." Specifically of directing again, "It's wonderful to return to this family and work with these new people."

Hugh Jackman said it's two great movies in one, and he's so honored to be a part of it.

Halle Berry wants to know why Storm doesn't get any romance. "Is she asexual in the comics?"

Paquin said "I got cast in this role when I was 13, and it feels incredible to be back."

Stewart said this is the cast he feels closest to outside of Star Trek. McKellen said, "I feel safe in California now that you've gotten rid of Prop 8. I'm looking for a husband, nice to meet you, Michael," and looked down at Fassbender.

Ellen Page - "When I did the first one I had never been on a set that size or scale so it blew my mind. I never expected to play Kitty again."

Bryan Singer says Deadpool is possible for a future x-movie - but he's not in DOFP.

Love the parts in Bold

"Basically the notion is Hugh of the future is sent … his conscienceness... is sent into his younger self [and] Hugh gets to play both parts because he is ageless," Singer said.

People will complain that Wolverine takes a central role but since there isn't a Kitty in the 70s to send her conciousness into and Xavier, Magneto, Beast ect are central to the events changing then Logan dies make the most sense as he is ageless, present in the timeperiod and not akready involved with how time plays out

This made me laugh.

Then who or where is Scarlet Witch? Quiksilver is there, what about her?

Xavier says to Wolverine, "You're going to have to do to me what I once did for you."

^ wonder what this means

My guess since McAvoy is playing a broken Xavier that Stewart brought Logan back to "humanity" and it sounds like the events of DOFP are because Xavier loses that?

Stewart said this is the cast he feels closest to outside of Star Trek. McKellen said, "I feel safe in California now that you've gotten rid of Prop 8. I'm looking for a husband, nice to meet you, Michael," and looked down at Fassbender.

Gotta love Magneto essentially hitting on himself. :lol

Quicksilver will be a 1970s character. Didn't expect that. Hope he's Magnetos Son.

Jackman said this morning he walked around the convention in his full Wolverine costume. Not one person stopped him. Got one "not bad."

 .how is that possible? Not one full pic anywhere

This made me laugh.
Ha..I know :D. I mentioned both quotes on purpose to show the difference in opinion.

And it's a good example of foreshadowing in regards to the conflict of opinions we will see from fans once the trailer hits online.

I remember X-Men: First Class getting of flak when the initial costume photos popped online, people just wrote off the movie to be a disaster and it turned out to be one of the best X-Men films.

This movie is going to divide lot of X-Men fans either ways.

Mystique hasn’t seen Charles in a really long time, but she’s still feels close to him while also transitioning into the Rebecca Romijn portrayal we all know, said Jennifer Lawrence.

“This is an embarrassment of riches,” said Jackman. “This is two great movies in one.”

And what about Iron Man vs. Wolverine in a movie? “I don’t want to be responsible for taking down Iron Man, but come on …” Jackman joked. “I’m open to that, some kind of big mashup … I’m all for it, but there’s people way above me that have to decide that one.”

Finally, before the questions turned to “What X-Men would be besides the one you are now?,” Boucher asked about Quicksilver. “Quicksilver was always a part of the story,” said Singer. “The casting took a while to find the right actor for the role … I can’t speak to ‘The Avengers,’ but …”

“I don’t know… he moves quick, he talks quick,” said Peters. “Everyone is slow compared to him.”

______

Jackmans know Wolverine could take Iron Man :lol
