the quality of the artwork for the first promo, and the quality of the first movie dont necessarily correlate. :leture

the movie may be good, great, mediocre, or terrible. none of us really know yet, but the first promo looks like junk. it's poorly done...very poorly done...but that doesn't mean the movie's good or bad. we'll find out when it's out.

I know...that's exactly what I stated. Write off the picture ad being crap...fine. But to completely write off the movie like some are doing based on one piece of promo art is just silly.

It isn't just the picture (which I actually don't mind personally) but the odd character selection outside of Magneto and Xavier that is the problem. It doesn't even keep continuity with what was established in the first X-Men movie with Xavier saying that Cyclops, Storm and Jean were among his first students (First Class) yet none of them are in the movie. That is odd considering it is the same continuity and Singer is involved in this film.

i think it looks ok, people need to remember this is a retro style film based in the 1960's
