Not so much a coincidence as it only makes sense if you are a comics fan. Wolvie/Kitty have a history. They used that older brother/younger sister chemistry from the comics in the movies...only with Rogue.

Beast is going thru a secondary mutation and is gradually becoming more 'cat-like'.

Beast Bio: read the section 'Back with the X-Men.

wow. i never even knew that the 1st was based on the Astonishing versions, but this Beast is definitely one. but why did they make Emma look like she's flying/landing? quite collecting comics awhile back but i didn't think she has that power.

so are all these Xmen/sentinel dios FOR SURE gonna connect to form a huge dio? because if that's the case i really wish they'd have been advertised that way from the beginning bacause now it'll cost a fortune to get 1.

I hear you on that. I think the demand was there for this to be a series of 3 dioramas. Not to mention the next diorama will probably be one of the few ways you'll get the Astonishing costume Wolvie. I somehow don't see that look sticking around.
