I'm going for the overkill option :lol
Thrustmaster Warthog, full metal replica of an A-10c HOTAS! Cost me a fortune but it sure is a thing of beauty...

Even I haven't got around to it yet, will do soon though. I'd love to see how Tie fighter plays these days in the mean time.

I haven't tried it out yet because I still need to take my Force Feedback Pro out from storage :(. This is one game where you definitely need a joystick and keyboard combination.

I really liked these games, but I don't have a joystick anymore. Any recommendations for an inexpensive, simple joystick?? I wouldn't have any other use for it, besides these two games.

Might be an idea to just put lowest price first on Ebay or Amazon and see what comes up in your part of the world. Should be cheaper than pc shops etc for things like that.

How are you guys playing Tie Fighter, by the way? I whipped out my old Sidewinder Precision Pro. Brings back memories :lol.

Ugh... Just as a correction to my second post, I meant Force Feedback Pro :slap. I have both the Precision and Force Feedback, but my Precision Pro had some connectivity issues with Windows 7, so it was a no-go. Not sure if it's a driver issue or just a faulty wire. So, I hope that I'll have a better chance with my Force Feedback joystick.
