not sure if anyone else knows yet, but if you are on my friends list you should have gotten my message that there is an update for GOW that includes patches, and a couple maps.

Yea, haven't downloaded it since josh's reaction to the download. any word on why this happened or a remedy for it?

Haven't seen anything on the 360 Forums saying no problems for sure. It appears to be hit and miss who this messes up.

Who else here has fallen victim to the vile addiction that is online Rainbow Six LV. I swear this stuff has to be worse than heroin, all I think about is getting to the weekend and trying to rank up before Monday.

I like it but it's not nearly as good IMO as GOW or COD3.

I haven't played much of the story mode, but the online play has me hooked more than any other game ever has.

As far as R6 goes I prefer the story mode. Didn't care for the online stuff much.

i havent played rainbow 6 yet, but im dying to. i am addicted to call of duty 3 online although i havent been able to get int a ranked game yet( i have no clue why, i have a great connection. GoW i didnt like at all. the story mode was fun to play multiplayer, but the online play was pretty boring. i thought it was very choppy and sometimes my character would feel out of control . after playng halo 2 fr years, i may have had a hard time adjusting. but i just didnt like the quick matches and the rush for weapons. the part i didnt like the most was how many shots it took to kill people sometimes. i thought that their wasnt as much control over the weapon efficiency unless it was a headshot type kill.

I'm sure it would, I play with my bro-in-law, my wife's cousin, a friend from work, and a couple other guys I met while playing that are cool to play with. It does make a big difference when you like who you're playing with and have a good time chatting during the match.

I haven't tried playing GoW on-line yet. I'm going to have to take you up on that offer so we can kick some Locust ass!
