Doesn't seem like anybody has anything bad to say about this. Well, someone mentioned the gold chains. All the pictures look awesome. I expect mine to ship next week. Can't wait.

I keep going back and forth with this seam issue (Neck/Chest area and the Tornado small add on piece), on some statues it's not that noticeable but on others it's pretty bad (I guess it depends on the angle your looking at it)... For an otherwise perfect statue I can't believe XM allowed those seams to get past QC ….. First rule of sculpting "NO VISABLE SEAMS"... I've ripped SS for this on some of their statues, so as not to be a hypocrite I need to call XM out on it also.... This statue is to expensive for them to make a rookie mistake like that.

I have no Seams at all on mine. I’ve checked it again and again. So it must vary with each individual. There is separation between the cape and the costume, but in person it ms very minor. I saw Gemmints review and his has a neck seam which is noticeable in his video. Overall one of my favourite pieces from XM so far, this and Scorpion are awesome.

From your photos the headsculpt where she’s looking up, certainly looks perfect and much better than others I’ve seen. This one seems to sit lower into the cavity than the other, thereby obscuring the seam. However there appears to be a bit of a seam on the other one. The straight on one may have been improved if the gold paint had a perfect transition between head and chest.

"The lovely Ororo Munroe, also known as the goddess Storm, showed up on my doorstep last week. I will admit I was on the fence when this piece was initially shown as I wasn't a big fan of the tornado, the O-face portrait or the hooker red nail polish. Thankfully XM changed the nail polish to silver and the tornado has grown on me. Being a gentleman, I won't show pictures of the face she makes when the other X-Men leave us alone for the night. ;-)

I really love the white shading and texturing of her costume and cape. It provides for a stark contrast with the gold bracelets and piping on her costume and cape. The pose conveys a sense a regality and is an excellent display of her powers. Her skin tone is spot on perfect and the paint apps are pristine and sharp. Best 1/4 scale Storm on the market today. The MTO edition size (420) will make her challenging to get in the aftermarket, so get yours now if you are on the fence.
