In a way, I'm glad XM prices are outrageous for US buyers. Otherwise I'd be broke getting all these amazing statues. I wonder if SSC will make an affordable Iron Man classic comic costume PF.

I find their prices to be OK. It's the shipping that's the killer for me.

Yeah, the combination is definitely killer. Where do you get yours from? I occasionally check Secret Compass and I see all their prices to be over $1k, with a few exceptions around $700-$800? I figure if Prime 1 is around $800 for 1/3 scale, isn't that price for 1/4 imbalanced?

1/4 scale by Prime1 are 750$, actually. 1/3s are 900-970$. The retail prices by XM are more than fair, the combination with shipping and markup is usually too high

I have a contact in Singapore. He's always been very fair with me. He always charges me retail and has never hit me with a markup. His shipping charges have also been very fair. Unfortunately, I try to cherry pick the pieces that I want and he'll always take care of his regular customers first. That's complete understandable. If I want something, I basically have to order as soon as the art concept is revealed. I usually don't do that because I don't know the retail price or what the statue will look like at that time. It's pretty frustrating trying to secure and XM piece for me. That's why I only have 2 of them (Mags and Thanos).

To improve on the realism of the wires they should fray them a bit more and make each wire within the cable a different length so it looks like the wiring was ripped apart vs being perfectly cut.

This piece was done awhile ago. It was shown at a bunch of CONs already. XM just went and replaced the sculpted wires with real ones.
