Best statue ever. Really impressed with this, lots of assembly but it's definitely a center piece in any collection. From the packing to the paint app, everything is excellent.

Day 4 for me and I still can't stop staring at him. I'm must be doing something good because he hasn't taken my soul yet.

How was your chain? Did you need to apply heat to re shape a little?

Set everything up but the chain. Gotta head to the airport tonight to pick the inlaws and going to Vegas this weekend on business. If I have time tomorrow I'll try, if not it'll have to wait until next week. Will definitely watch your vid again for pointers, thanks again for that. It's pretty fantastic. I had both the RWOS pf and Conan fury of the best dio, this tops them both in size and sheer presence.

Just received this yesterday. Can't believe how big the box is. Undecided as to whether to open as I'm looking to get out of XM. They are just so damn heavy and I have run out of room! Photos look awesome everyone thanks for sharing!

If you lived here in the US, you would have a lot of offers. But shipping from OZ is going to tack on a lot $$$. Best to just keep it.

Very cool. Yeah like I said you can watch a bunch of videos, but until you start assembling and see the Statue grow larger and larger in front of you thats when you realize this piece is going to be massive.

All I can say for those who owns PAX cabinets it takes up a full shelf which normally fits two 1/4 scale spaced apart.

Well it will be something to look forward to when you get back. Congrats

I can't see anyone who has this throwing away the packaging. That thing takes up A LOT of space too.

Because my brown shipper was beat to hell, I (for the first time) tossed it. I don't see myslef selling this anytime soon (if ever, ) so I was ok with it. Black box is something to see, big thumbs up to XM on that.

The contents will always stay intact due to the Velcro strapped compression straps used to compress the styrofoam inside the black musicians road case .

Yah, even my wife commented on the black box. She thought it was very nice. Even if this is my first and only XM piece, quality all around was top notch.

Just attached the chain and the statue got even better, if that was possible. All angles. Heated the chain in place and it looks great. Thanks again lotus. Glad I took the plunge and got this.
