XM Studios 1/4 Planet/King Hulk

So this monster has grown on me big time.. I always thought the head sculpt was one of the best ever... I may get this. I have not been tempted by a statue since Prime 1 Predator (jungle hunter)

I thought the same thing as IronLungs about the blocky muscles but man am loving it now.

Congrats Jaws! It's a fantastic looking statue. Unfortunately, I have no more room for another 1/4 HULK statue. However, if I did, this would get serious consideration. I LOVE the Planet HULK storyline. I also love that the switch out parts allow this piece to be either a King or Planet HULK.

Yeah.. I dont really have the room... But I will figure something out..

Funny thing is I made less room in my collection recently when i got an 85 inch tv... there are 5 less statues I can display now.

I actually thought I was done buying statues.. My last two were going to be the Prime 1 Jungle hunter and Big Chap.. But this statue.. Oh boy..

1st - The statue is amazing!! It took a bit to grow on me as I was not a fan of the artists Red Hulk and the blocky muscles... I felt this was the same way at first.. but the Gem Mint preview video won me over to just how beautiful this piece is. The face sculpt is the best Hulk face sculpt ever IMO.. and the muscle mass and veins are perfect for this piece.

2nd - The switch outs.. Man oh man that is so cool you get to go from Gladiator to the King! Love it.

3rd - Hulk is by far my fav comic character

4th - Planet Hulk is my fav Hulk story and I have read a ton of Hulk. Planet Hulk the story, is brilliant, emotional and just about perfect. WWH is just freaking Fun and while its light on plot compared to PH that is just fine because after that epic we needed some good old fashioned Hulk Smash!!

5th - I have owned SSC original GH and PH.. This blows them both away.. I really liked the new GH but there was something missing in that piece. I have also owned a ton of regular Hulk statues.. This just seems to be next level with all the detail that comes with the PH set up.

Space will be an issue for sure... But down the road when the kids move out I will be making a home office and have much more space for some of the pieces I have stored.

This guy will have a spot after he arrives though.. Some other piece will get stored. Probably IS Hulk. No room for two massive Hulks if I want anything else out on display.

I pulled the trigger on the XM Transformation HULK in a millisecond. It's my favorite HULK statue and I waited over a decade to add a 1/4 classic HULK that I liked to my collection. Price on it now is insane and probably only going to go up. I think only 700 were made. That's not many.

Just got it. Should be here next week. In all honesty i ended up getting XM Gladiator and this will go much better with it. I’ll put Banner in the middle and put a hulk on each side.

IS hulk is just to big.

plus I feel the need to own every 1/4 scale hulk at one point or another lol

Well this was a nice surprise. PH showed up today. Tracking was way behind.

So yeah… This is probably my fav Hulk piece ever. Truly amazing. It’s perfect and I would not change a thing. I thought I might have issues with the sculpted muscles looking too blocky. But they are not. This piece is a beast. I will have to get pics of it next to Transformation Hulk cause I think he might dwarf him. But they are not even in the same room yet. Heavy also.
