Erick actually popped into the XM thread in SF about the Antman portrait and there were hints by Shorudan that he may also be involved with their Spider man.... I know wolf brother posted a pic of one of Sosas unmasked wolverine portraits awhile back that XM really liked... Now Sosa is collaborating with XM on Antman.... Follow the bread crumbs and the conclusion could be very exciting. Sosa holds the belt for the best 1/6 wolverine and spiderman IMO. If they sign him on to do these two in 1/4 scale it's going to get absolutely crazy in these XM threads

Hell yeah. An XM Erick Spidey would be bought in a heartbeat, I wouldn't even need to see it to know that it'll be an epic piece

I cant remember the last time I have been this excited about a company and what they were doing for collectors. I mean don't get me wrong I still am a big fan of SS but the way XM seems to be listening to its customers and the speed in which they give us feedback is outstanding!!

Yeah. Their Cap looked cool, ironman looks cool, Hulk looks terrible in my opinion. Every concept they have released looks great. The only thing keeping me away is the price.

XM is defiantly on the right track, if they get involved with Sosa with his extraordinary sculpting and add in XM's dedication to details and quality control and then a low edition size of 500 of each statue and your talking grail's...

Yeah. I completely agree. That and getting fan input and what not is astonishing. I'm still amazed they are going to sculpt a more realistic black widow head just from popular demand.
Idk if it was confirmed, but the return policies sounded kinda whack. But with such a focus on QC I guess they don't really need to focus on return policies. Hbha

Dude can you imagine how georgeous of a Wolverine they could put out together? There really hasn't been an absolute smash hit for a 1/4 scale Logan yet. Don't forget the cigar portrait was shot down by marvel so there may be room for Erick to work in a little magic on the current Wolverine yet......
Completely agree with you Vorpoll. They are doing something special for collectors all around. XM is setting a new standard for this industry and the quality simply can not be ignored. As a long time supporter and collector of SS it drives me crazy to see the type of poor QC standards that are becoming the norm (Just step inside the apocolypse thread for a couple pics). Higher edition sizes and scattered rushed projects have led to lazy execution and constant price increases. The higher the print size the cheaper the manufacturing becomes yet the quality of SS work seems to be slipping while the prices keep increasing. Bad formula for success in the long term.

Dawg.. hey at least if you combine all the extras SS prices and XM match for those two PFs! Well technically Lobo is priced higher Still bought Lobo and Dawg though. Damn did SS do an amazing job on that sculpt.... just perfection.
