I think the confusion comes from the fact that the few Deadpool pics I've seen looked good... as opposed to most other Fox movies.

Correct. Peeps seem to have forgotten DP made an appearance in Wolverine Origins which was a Fox film. Although, I can understand why someone may want to forget about that movie altogether. The new solo DP movie is also being released by Fox.

Nope. That was their version of DP. Of course, they are ignoring that movie and wiping out his origin story. That's a smart move. Gives the upcoming DP movie a fresh start and most of us that saw the movie just refused to acknowledge it happened anyway.

I know that, I wrote what I wrote in jest. The writing for that Deadpool is a pale imitation of his comic self. Reynolds as Wade was fine which is why the new movie looks good so far, and hopefully the writing doesn't follow that other film in any way.

Yeah, you're spot on with that. I don't want the new DP movie to have any ties to Origins. I do like what we've seen so far.

The Wolverine movie was not bad, but I agree they messed it up. I was actually pissed that Viper was a blonde and Silver Samurai was a robot. They cutoff Logan's claws and never said how he got it back. What the hell was that about?

Wolvie was so good best wolverine statue to date. Cable will be another. It's going to hurt not getting these two.
