I did actually.

That's the back. Messed up line on the right.
Look, people, I didn't mean to start a fuss. I said at the outset, I don't expect perfection and probably won't even bring up these issues to Mark, which I see but admitted are so small they don't show up well in pictures. I also didn't set the standard for excellence in perfection, XM did. The statue I had replaced had small issues that many said they couldn't see, yet Ang did and it was he, not I, that insisted on me destroying my first body and shield because the minor flaws were unacceptable to him. Well, this version isn't perfect either, and that's fine. However it is about as imperfect as the one they made me destroy, this one being a little better.
I'm good. I can't display it for a while anyhow and I'm not yanking it out of the box again for now. The issues are super small. I know that and said as much. They are only even "issues" because the statue is as near perfection as any I've received and because with solid, bright colors, minor deviations become more pronounced, despite their insanely infinitesimal appearance.
I'm not complaining. I'm not saying my piece is unsatisfactory. I am only saying that I destroyed a body and shield at the bidding of XM and received a new body and shield that had similarly small issues.
I applaud XM and their diligence and the way they handled me. Their dedication to perfection is astounding. Yet it is also nearly unattainable. I'm not sure what my ultimate opinion here, but I am a happy customer and happy with my beautiful Captain America, despite having these admittedly small issues that I do see. I will un-see them later.
