"Doctor Octopus - Before his transformation into the megalomaniacal archenemy of the web-slinger, Otto was a brilliant and respected nuclear physicist, inventor, and lecturer. He became the youngest person to serve on the National Board of Nuclear Science. He designed a set of highly advanced mechanical arms to assist him with his research into atomic physics. The tentacled arms were resistant to radiation and were capable of great strength and highly precise movement. They were attached to a harness that fit around his body."

"Finally after 3 years Dr. Otto Octavius has joined the collection. I’ll be honest the excitement for this piece had died down due to the long wait but I’m blown away by it in person. The amount of details is amazing, from the base to the jacket to the tentacles and espically on the teeth, XM really did a great job on it. I thought I’d never use the classic take head but in person I actually prefer it, for me personally this the second best in the Spidey line behind scorpion, sleeper hit."
