The line was basically gained under the pretense that they cannot use comic or film referenced versions of the characters and it looks like XM decided to go in a direction that seems to take a note from various parts of Japanese culture from Samurai to Yakuza, and from anime as well. That said, I don't like it either.

I think this is an awesome reimagining of Harkey as a crazy Harajuku girl. It retains enough Harley to still be Harley but it shouldn't look like traditional Harley because that's not what this is supposed to be.
