HaHa ...those drawings of WW must be from the 90's.

Oh man ...no kidding ...good times!
Yes, for those that didn't live them I feel bad. It was truly the end of a century with awesome music, excellent animated cartoons and before all this tech and bitterness had engulfed us like it has ever since. Not saying they were perfect, but I loved the '90s and think it was truly the end of some true creative greatness.
Hey guys!
I am the concept artist for this WW piece, collaborating with XM Studios. Thank you for the kind words and appreciations!
I also grew up in the 90's and I love that era.
Especially before the internet, so when you visit your favorite toy store, you get suprised by so many new toys (in blisters), and you want all of them (but got no money since still in school, lol), good old times as a collector!!
Thank you for your amazing work on this - I absolutely can't wait to add her to my collection!

First, awesome work on the WW!
Second, you are so right. I used to love going to stores be it comic shops, toy stores like FAO Swartz, KB Toys, The WB store, TRU, etc. and seeing the new books, toys, statues. I was just out of HS and going to college back then. So though still poor, I did at least have some money as I worked while going to school. I had all the Spiderman Animated, Batman Animated figures plus the re-release of Star Wars figures. It was indeed a wondrous time! The internet was there if you had time to burn for dial up, but only was a supplement to information. I used to go to bookstores and leaf through or buy the latest toy mags and see what was coming out! I even remember having friends over so we could look at new photos of figures online, or meet up so we could compare out latest hulls. So much different than today for sure.
Thank you!
And yes. It was the golden age of collecting for me personally. Where going to toy stores are literally treasure hunting. I am from Indonesia and here, there are not many toy stores, and we only have one store that imported US comics. It's funny and such miracle that now I am working for Marvel comics. I feel so very blessed. What you said brings so many memories to me. Spiderman animated, Batman Animated, the Toybiz X-Men (there are SO MANY of them, so I can never do the "collect them all" tagline, LOL). And because I have to save money to buy just one, I used to put the one figure I want in the back of the rack, put it in the back lines of the pegs, so people won't find it and I can buy it later when I have the money hahahaha.
Also, when I was in elementary school in 91-96, there was no internet here in my place, so again, what you mentioned happened to me a lot, where to see one or two particular figure, we have to go to a person's place because he is the ONLY one who has it in the area. I met a lot of new friends through that process, hahahaha.
The good old times. I guess we're lucky that we got the chance to experience it.
And now I am designing statues, it's like living the dream.
You guys are a bunch of youngsters.... I remember being 7 when the very first Star Wars Action figures came out, I remember going to Gemco / K-Mart and seeing the new action figures hanging on the wall by the check out stand, my mom would buy me one at a time... Then going to the mall which was like 50 mins away which had a real toy store will all the figures (rare ones you didn't see at K-Mart)… and begging my mom to advance me my allowance.... My uncle built this like 30'x30' sandbox in the backyard, I lost many of figures in that sandbox Ah the good ol' days where you only worry was picking which action figure you wanted to buy
