There are 2 more being worked on as well making a total of 7 custom heads. You also have the switch out arm with the Doom mask and Wolverine skull plus the Apocalypse severed head.

Yup! Those are the ones. I like those a lot. The unmasked still isn't perfect to me though so I probably won't buy it.

The masked head looks great so did anyone get these yet? If it's no longer being made then might as well count them out. The unmasked I prefer the first jim lee Sosa head. I hope Sosa does a proto phoenix head or any of these professional guys. So I think it's dark spidey who paints the Sosa custom jim lee head? If so I emailed him and no response yet? Any know if he's still around for the Jim lee head? Once I saw that in person it's the best mags I had ever seen fr a Jim lee fan. So freaking stunning!

Hey David,
I'm really liking the sculpts. However the paint app on the portrait with helmet looks like it was done to look "weathered" ....was this intentional? I'm thinking that look might not match the statue since the statue does not have the "weathered" look. Do you have pics with this custom helmeted portrait on the XM Mag statue? Would love to see pics.

Is there an option to paint it like the original helmeted portrait? Would be nice to know. Thanks!

100% sure that the weathered/stained look is intentional, James also repainted the original heads so I guess he knows exactly how to paint the clean helmet.
Out of all the custom heads I've seen, this is the best as a sculpt, by far. All the others just don't do anything to me.

Yea, you're right. I misstated my question. My question was not to ask if the weathered paint app was by accident. My question was more ...Is the weathered look the intended result ...I asked only because I feel that that weathered look might not match the statue. I need to see it on the statue, I guess.

And I do agree with you about this custom sculpt. It really catches my attention.

I don't understand how this keeps happening, if all casts were destroyed why doesn't XM go after the manufacturing plant? or not use them for future products
