Wah wah wah. Man this thread is exhausting. This is the problem with to much feedback. Can't please everyone. You might not like something but then somebody else does. I like the eyes sideways now but who cares. I thought they were fine before. If painting Emma sideways keeps me from getting a cross eyed Magneto im all for it. Just put it up for p.o. already

Aw man ...the straight ahead look was already perfect with the pics before this one. It was definitely the lighting and angle that was the culprit for the cross-eye.

Now I'm curious to see how the whole statue looks with these new eyes.

You can blame everyone complaining about cross-eyed eyes based off a bad angle photo. I felt it looked fine as is.

Nah...I'm not going to put blame on anyone. Everyone has their preference and comments. I'm sensing some frustration now because of this, tho. I can see why Nemenforcer might find this thread exhausting. But who knows ...if we see the whole statue with these new eyes, we might find it still looks great.

What I liked is that we reasoned it out when we first thought Mags was cross-eyed. We looked at the pics and determined it was lighting and angle. Now we just have to do the same with this one without jumping on each other.

I will for the most part. However, if a COH looks good, I do switch things up from time to time. If we get this new looking to the side portrait, the helmet will stay on full time.

Agreed, slippery slope with many of the complainers having no intention of acquiring this anyway.

Straight eyes looked okay to me, the new photos I like more.

Mags looks like he's about to pimp slap Shawn for all the Haterade.

I don't mind the new ones but I would like to see a full pictures. It would be cool if the eyes are looking toward the hand levitating the Cerebro Helm

To me, the eyes looking sideways indicates that Mags is stewing about something. When I'm ticked off, that's what I seem to do, look to the left and let the thoughts run wild. Looking straight ahead to me, says the person has sort of zoned out. They're not really thinking about anything. XM stated they were going for sad and tired. Straight eyes would work for that. Plotting a response requires looking to the side. I don't think he has to be necessarily looking at the hemlet here, just plotting. Either way, it looks incredible! I think it's great that XM has shown a willingness to stray from its original intent.

I think this new face makes more sense tbh. It works well with both change out arms whereas the straight forward look worked well with the hand on helmet arm but, not so much with the floating cerebro arm. That display just never looked right to me from the very beginning. With a full shot of him though, it may look different and I may hold a different opinion but, based on those two shots, I personally think its an improvement.

I definitely applaud XM for trying different ways to improve this in any way they can. I can't imagine changing the eyes to be a complicated task especially for a professional painter, so I'd imagine changing it back or fixing it a little shouldn't pose too much of a problem. I'm not a painter so that's only my assumption. They've come a long way from the original depressed face (which a lot of people disliked but simply accepted it) and as long as XM isn't complaining about people's feedback, I don't think anyone not directly involved with the making of this statue should either. Not intended to sound harsh
