Its not just the fact that SS ****ed up by not making Mags. XM not only made him but kept us in the loop the entire time. Listening to our complaints and tweaking it as they went. By doing that they kept Mags at the top of our minds and kept us hooked like that. 800 in an hour or so is doable by SS too, just need the right sculpt, paint and info for the customers. Also taking in our feedback like days out helps a lot

You are also talking about companies of two completely different size and one company that needs to prove itself. I agree listening to feedback is a good thing but its a fine line. Its nice to see changes but you can never please everyone.

I think BBTS are cancelling duplicate orders. After the first one went back up they changed their policy in the description.

I have to agree. Most people buying more than one aren't likely to be thinking they are going to keep them.

To each their own but seeing the freenzy that is going on for this piece I'd hope as many true collectors were able to get their hands on one as possible.

I've been hitting refresh on their XM page and it never showed.

Caved in and ordered as well

alright ordered one. hope xm wont screw this up.

Damn, I went to sleep and just woke up. So now even Simply Toys has sold out. Wow, demand for this piece is unreal. I knew it'd be hot but never imagined it would move this quickly. The hunt continues for me. I guess I'll have to wait on BBTS to put him up. I really thought it would be no problem securing the statue and coin through Kenny or Mark if we contacted them on the 1st day but now I know better. Lesson learned on future pieces I'll want to pick up.

All hope is not lost. A member here offered me one of his extra pieces (which includes the coin) if I can't score one myself. I'm incredibly grateful to him. I won't mention him by name because I'm not sure he'll want the attention. Some peeps here will throw the flipper accusations at him but he is willing to give me one of his extra pieces at his cost. I was blown away by that generosity. I'll still try scoring one of these on my own but having the peace of mind knowing I'm covered either way is something I can't thank him enough for. So...the hunt continues. Good luck to any and all of us still trying to add this to our collection.

Filip, your post is really great to read and exactly why this community rocks - fellow boardies helping each other out in this desperate times of need! I sincerely hope each and every Freak who wants this statue has an opportunity to get one.

This is one of the fastest sell outs I can recall in all my time collecting, can't say I'm surprised though. When we all saw the sculpt for the first time I think we had a pretty good idea that if this was painted up semi-decently it had 'grail' written all over it . The wait for this to arrive at our doorsteps ill be excruciating, but worth every minute of it!

I'm not exactly sure how that works but those are exceptions since they are a direct connection to the company in some way. I don't think those will be cancelled. BBTS on the other hand will once they determine someone has more than one.

What about those people who ordered through distributors like Mark and whomever and got through BBTS or ST? Prolly can't cancel those orders.
