The heads are actually very well done, but they could be done better. Even I am objective enough to admit that....and I'm XM's biggest fan. Now Ms. Marvel on the other hand....her heads are perfection. I feel the same about Medusa but some others will disagree.

Whatever the case, this is the best Phoenix I have ever seen...and don't see anything approaching it for a while. Maybe IF and that's a humongous IF SS does a Dark Phoenix, maybe that will give this one a run for its money.

The hair line is also too low and her hair in the white eyed sculpt looks like a peeling fruit roll up.

Well see. It'll probably be a while before we see phoenix again, from either company.

Also I agree on Ms. Marvel though with her pose I wish she had more of an expression but strongly disagree with you on Medusa, the painted sculpt turned me off completely.

I'm gonna have to find a custom painter to add highlights to her hair =(

Even with all the yelling and flame fanning over headgate, XM just couldn't get it together enough to give us multi-colored hair that would have vastly improved the overall release imo

I agree 2 of the 3 heads needs work. I think the flaming up hair with whited eyes looks great. The default head that got the slightly flattened hair could be better but I still like it. The third calm faced one I'm still not a fan of and will prob never display with. If someone makes an awesome custom head, I might just get one for once. All that being the case, I can not freakin wait to get this...just so epic overall!!!
