THE MAD TITAN, this statue is epic, so many switch out options I love both helmet heads, don't know which one I'm going to use!!
Heavy statue, used some metal brackets to secure the shelf lol, paint aps are great as usually and stones were nicely done, home run again XM!

Nice. Stupid question, but BOTH arms are holding the book. Didn't realize there were enough options to do that. How'd you do it?

It's a switch out arm. It comes with the statue. He's meant to be holding the cosmic cube in both hands.

filip, how do you think Sideshow's new Thanos will stack up against this?

I think it's a case of which Thanos you like best. A classic Thanos or more of a Marvel Now Thanos. The Marvel Now Thanos looks pretty close to the movie Thanos in tone and style as well. I personally am a classic Thanos guy. I like the Starlin/Perez/Lim era classic Thanos best. I'm not a Marvel Now (or NEW 52) guy. I'm a big fan of the classics (stories and costumes) so I always want and look for classic takes on the statues I buy.

So, as far as my tastes are concerned, I'm a big fan of the SSC dio and the XM Thanos. Both of those statues lean heavily to a classicly styled Thanos. Given what I've seen so far of the Thanos MAQ (which has a heavy Marvel NOW influence), I will likely pass on it and stick with my XM Thanos. The XM Thanos is more my cup of tea and I'm very happy with it being THE 1/4 Thanos in my collection.

I'm definitely looking forward to a more Marvel Now take on things, especially adding a throne into the mix to really change things up. I'm hoping SSC delivers.
