Absolutely love this piece. Unfortunately, after shipping, XM statues are just too expensive for me to pull the trigger. I'll have to enjoy pics and videos from those of you that got one.

Hopefully, eBay will be a great asset for collectors wanting this one, pending that prices on this don't shoot up and stay there.

I don’t think this is going to be a good eBay piece to purchase. The feedback on this is so positive which is why I pre ordered. I wasn’t going to chance the after market on this plus Wolverine is my favorite

I hope you're right. (Meaning, I want the piece to success and be popular with fans.)

I'm surprised though that the first XM Wolverine can still be had a decent price. Obviously, different statue, but still same character.

The first Wolverine has heavily dropped in price these past few months or even this past year. Probably because there is so many wolverines being released and the Xm one is 50/50 with some people. I own it and love it.

Yeah, I don't see this piece being easy to acquire at retail or less. It just looks too damn good.

That piece had its issues if you are a classic Wolverine fan. I wasn't crazy about any of the portraits on it. I also didn't care for the tweaks/modernization of the costume (the zippers and straps they added to the costume). Lastly, I wasn't all that crazy with the pose on it as well. If I'm going to add a made up version of Wolverine to my collection, I'll go with sideshow's new PF. IMO, it's better in every way.

I really liked the sculpt on this piece, but I started disagreeing with it when the Army green paint won as the application of choice. I'm really not liking that Army green ...and I refuse to pay the high price for it.

But I am curious to see how this XM statue will do in the aftermarket. Perhaps if I get my way, it can be had with a repaint. If not, oh well ....I'll wait for another one.

I liked the masked head. The zippers and straps didn’t bother me at all. If you look at it from a distance, it looks like the classic costume in my opinion. Pose I found to be better than most Wolverines on the market. I ordered the Sideshow Wolverine as well. I do agree, I think that Wolverine will be better than XMs.

That’s understandable. I’m curious myself because if this doesn’t raise in the after market and lessens that pretty much means, you can wait on all xm pieces from now on until the hype ends except for exclusive pieces which appear to always be above retail. Have you seen the Iron Studios Weapon X? It’s pretty good and might be what you are looking for

I can understand that there are collectors that enjoy the XM Wolverine. I'm very picky with my Wolverine statues. Because of a few personal preferences, the XM Wolverine didn't make the cut for me. I have and absolutely LOVE the Wolverine COM. I have a 1/4 classic comic accurate Wolverine statue so I didn't need another yellow and blue costumed Wolverine statue that I had issues with. I'm a HUGE Wolverine fan so I have multiple statues of the character. I have to be floored by a Wolverine statue nowadays in order to add it to my collection because I'm running out of display space.

Yup, I did see the Iron Studios Weapon X. I didn't like the sculpt as much as the XM Weapon X, tho. So I'll need to wait on that too ...and see if it grows on me.

Interesting opinions and all valid points also. I really love the sculpt on this XM piece. However I agree on the green also. It should have been metallics and silvers.

I have checked out the Iron Studios piece and it does look great. Just that overall I think XM wins.

The Iron Studios one is up for order now on Sideshow. Only 300 made. I didn't order it cause I have this XM one on order. They're too similar. Jumped on the regular Wolverine statue though. That's up now too as is the Wolverine Vs. Juggernaut Diorama.
