yahoo acct question

I am not able to log into my yahoo account so i called the helpline and they are saying my account has been compromised, has anyone had this issue before, any suggestions

Yahoo has been having problems lately , my email was sending spam emails to my contacts , i had to reset my password and make another one.

I dont know, when i logged in it kept asking me for he answer on a security question and i dont remember the answer to it so it locked me out, what do you guys suggest

Well , that's your problem . If you tried to log in multiple times , it locks you out .

Just like online banking , and other sites including here of SSF . If you try to log on and don't know your name or password , you only get a few times to get it right.

I've NEVER had that happen on Yahoo. Did you forget your password and so they asked you the security question?

Can you try logging on with someone else's computer. I really don't like the sound of this.

Yea, it keeps saying my security questions answer is wrong so it locked me out again for 12 hours

Were any of these numbers the one you called? I read where there's an Asian group that will open up your account for $100 so I'm wondering if it's them that you're calling.
