Maybe this company will only do full size? It looks like MR is only doing the scaled ones as evidenced by caps small shield and the two Spidey masks. I know there was a full one at one time, and I wanted to get it, but it seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth.

It'll be great to get ANOTHER Cap shield since the Factory X ones are tough to find.

NO!! That will devalue the Factory X one...maybe I should sell mine now.

Awesome news. These guys are for real.

Get ready for the obvious: Cap's shield and Thor's hammer.

"Characters include Iron Man, Captain America, Blade, Dr. Doom, Submariner, Moon Knight, Mandarin, X-Men, Thanos and Thor."

I think these guys are going to be major players - I got their Serenity swords and they're pretty good. But where does this leave MR in regards to props?

LOL! Bought a shirt from them. They claimed it was 100% cotton. I needed a black pirate shirt for Halloween. When I got the $40.00 shirt is said Rayon on the tag. So I demanded my money back and sent them a wiki on what Rayon and Cotton actually are. To this day I never got a response. I still get their mailers though. LOL!

I hear that Thor hammer is kinda on the cheap side.
I saw it last year at SDCC, it looked awesome to me. I don't see how anything that looks as good as what I saw and weighs approx. 14 Lbs. can be cheap.

Marvel slices their licenses paper thin....scale doesn't even matter because SSC and MR were both approved for 1/6 Black Suited Spidey Statues. MR is definitely doing 1:1 props, they already previewed the Spidey Comic Mask but were asked to move it to focus on SM3. Its interesting that Marvel would allow another direct competitor to go after the license already granted to MR since 2006 but whatever. The competition will keep both companies on their toes.

 Weird....I was browsing their site and saw MR's version of Peter's Letter Opener and I swear they have Gimli's UC Helm....they look identical to the pieces offered by both companies.....who exactly is Museum Replicas??

I haven't seen it in person so I can't say. I see on the latest Previews they are also making a Stormbreaker prop coming out next month.

MR does a lot of replicas that seem to be tuned not only as collectibles, but as costumes for people who attend Comic-Cons or Medieval festivals...etc. I signed up for an account on their website cause I was tempted to get one of the GI Joe swords and they ended up sending me their catalog every few months and you can see a lot of their weapon and costume replicas there

I believe that their line of Marvel replicas will not only be a collectible, but also be able to "function" as realistic prop weapons made out of real metal or whatever and not any sculpting material for such props that are meant to just sit there.

Wow Mike i am more confused after reading your posts. I think I understand now, MR makes the same things as MR, but MR is not the same as MR
