Wow thanks!

"I don't know, I can imagine quite a bit." :lol

.

I went to your sight and saw the 1:1 c-3po head. Do you take orders for a painted version of that? I have never really seen one available anywhere. They are always just scaled versions or crappy masks.

Unfortunately, none of the stuff on my site is for sale.
However, I'd consider collaborating with a SW licensee to make something available to the masses, but not privately on a small scale.

That is completely stunning Gino. Wish I could get one like that. You should show it to some companys pal. it is mint.:monkey4

Thanks for replies

Love mine...he was my first 1:1 and getting him prompted me to hunt down Palpatine and Darth Maul.

It's a nice looking piece that you should be able to find at about $100 below retail.

Gino's Yoda is the best version of Yoda i have seen other then on screen..probally could have easily been used on screen like his other pieces in his collection.I actually think someone should hire him to guide a company into making even better Star Wars props/collectibles..for the high prices you pay for some busts/statues and collectibles, you should only expect the best representations of the characters these days with the technology thats out there now.

Yep, awesome customs aside (no denying Gino's is ridiculously cool) this bust is still a great piece. Just kind of depends on what you are wanting/how much you can afford.

I know a lot of people have also gone more of the PT route and picked up one of the life size statues.

If they only used glass eyes, or something better than decals and crappy paint apps, I would buy these things.

Gino's custom looks like Yoda. THE Yoda. Right off the screen. Absolutely perfect.

Sideshow's bust looks like Yoda's distant cousin, Yoseph. I've seen this thing in person and the likeness is pretty rough. I'm happy for those of you who dig this piece, but I'm a Yoda collector and even I passed.

I just won one of these off ebay for $296 shipped. I just hope nothing bad happens like the last time I tried to buy one of these.

Its not like Sideshow can't hire sculptors who cant make one as good as the one by Gino,Thing is ,Sideshow would tell you that the one by Gino cant be mass reproduce by factory workers...Simple as that.

I disagree completely.
It might not be exactly up to the level of my custom, but it could be VERY close for the same price point.
These projects just lack good art direction in my opinion.
