So I finally got around to opening and inspecting this for damage, none thankfully. BUT, and maybe this has been mentioned, but has anyone noticed the strange bend that Dooku's lightsaber makes from the handle to the red part? I checked the sideshow pics, and it's like that on there too, so maybe this is be design. But it looks a little akward.

Yup Dooku's lightsaber is designed with a curve ....like a cane sort of. So it's probably not a defect.

I always hated this saber design. Not for the shape but that red trigger at the end. What is it an X-box controller?

Why ruin such a good design?
