Lucky me, my Counselor suggested that I go have a physical since I haven’t had one in a few years, and guess what? Now I am diabetic on top of all my other health problems.
My companies insurance changed and one of my already four medicines
that was only $10 at Wal-Mart is now no longer covered. It’s $60 now.
Life just keeps getting better and better all the time.

Just hang in there bud.
It's always the darkest before the dawn.

There are all kinds of programs for people who are disabled to help pay for their meds. Your doctor should know and if not, find a social worker to help you.

You shouldnt tell all these things on this board IMO.

I can't imagine what it's like to be disabled. And I wont pretend. I know that sometimes when I'm sick and my whole body aches and I can't move I think..man, I cannot imagine if this is how it was for me all the time. I feel bad for people who are disabled, whether they want me to or not. It's just who I am. We all have things in life that go for or against us, and everyone's troubles vary. But as long as you stay strong and positive (even in the darkest of times) everything will be okay.

Alright, there's my motivational speech for the day.

People over here In England love to whine about the NHS, but i wouldn't be alive if it weren't for them.

I'm much better these day's thanks to a very generous person who became an organ donor.

I'm four years post-transplant and doing well, but i know how hard it can be, the best thing i suggest is talk to someone with experience fo helping those with similar health problems to yourself.

Take care :wave

For what it's worth, I'm very sorry for your pain and current struggles and complex health issues. I wish things were different for you...

Well said buddy. That was probably the longest post I've ever read. The fact that you held my attention span for so long with that post is a tribute to your writing/communication skills. Very perceptive and Great advice. You should really think about being a counselor if you haven't already -and I'm not being sarcastic.

I actually quite enjoyed it as well. Usually a lot of post like that are long winded and running in circles but that was without a doubt some helpful information. :hi5:

Are you overweight? Poor diet? Lack of exercise? Self inflicted? Or just one of those bad luck scenarios?

Anyways.........Good luck to ya!

I agree with 100% of what Meathook suggested. I've been carrying a little pocket notebook with me since 2003 when I had some issues of my own to work through. It's very therapeutic to write down things that you can't describe verbally. I usually go with the pocket sized Field Notes, but lately I find the Writersblok books the better buy:
