I haven't found one Romero fan who actually liked it. :lol

I thought there was hope early on when a zombie is shot in the head, blowing off the whole thing with the exception of the top of his skull which then lands on his neck stump.

Too much of the people and not enough zombie...

Night of the Living Dead, Grindhouse and Nightmare on Elm Street are going to round out the weekend.

If you haven't picked up Never Sleep Again, it's a solid purchase and gives some great insights into the films, and in the case of Freddy's Revenge, serious LOL moments. Especially when they're put on the hot seat about all the overly gay undertones.

man when they were talking about part 2, I was almost cracking up the whole time. That is a great documentary.

Yeah, I was hoping that topic would come up and it seemed like they were gonna go to Warriors and then BAM! It's posed and there's another 20 or so minutes of laugh out loud goodness. :lol

Thanks for the link to it, but I am beyond out of funds. Life is fun like that! Hopefully one day though. :rock

Haha, that was one of the highlights of the dvd for me. I love how one or two people are like "i had no idea it would seem gay" then others are like "yeah, it was supposed to be subtext but...you know" haha.

But yeah, a great dvd if you can pick it up. Well worth it.

I've never seen any of the mummy films. Neither the karloff ones nor the hammer ones. Should really check them out. Are there any specific stand out ones?

I actually liked creep show 2. More than 1.

Watched Nightmare on Elm 2 last night. Forgot how bad it was. I don't remember the rest of them being that bad. I am almost afraid to sit through the rest...

Halloween 2 might have to be put on instead. I loved all the Halloweens (sans 3) so I am sure it will be enjoyed.

After ANOES (1984) you should just walk away. The sequels are some of the worst horror films ever made, if not all of them.
