The ending to Deadwood. Obviously, that wasn't supposed to be the end. I guess the fact that the show ended was a huge WTF moment. More deserving to survive than Firefly. . .____suckers.

Also, Arrested Development. :(

Ooh! I thought of a big one:

Twin Peaks!

Again, not supposed to be the end, but an awesome cliffhanger! And I actually think it works well as an ending. Dark, but cool.

Sorry if this is a spoiler but if it is...you can thank me later for saving you the trouble and pain of watching this film.

The Happening.....when you figure it out that it's the plants and trees! Seriously WTF! :slap

Shamalong-ding-dong has a swift kick to the groin for that one if I ever meet him. :blissysmi

TV

The season finale from Star Trek: The Next Generation where Picard is turned into the Borg Lucutis. Such an amazing end scene. One of the best TV cliff hangers ever!

Series finale of Earth 2. A good cliff hanger that of course would never get resolved since the show was cancelled.

Series finale of 'Angel'. Grrrr Argh

Movie

Very end of 'Cabin Fever' where the city folk come to pick up their gun(s). So good...so, so good, ha!

As someone else posted, Empire Strikes Back: Luke, I am your father.

Seeing those mahoosive invading ships for the first time coming out of the clouds & hovering over cities in Independance Day.

Seeing the Brontosaurus and T-Rex in Jurassic Park

Darth Vader's "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" scene in ROTS. I waited 6 plus years for that?!

:lol :goodpost:

Samuel L.'s big speech in that crappy Shark movie from years ago. I was not expecting that. :lol

Also, the end of Time Bandits.

:yess::goodpost:

The ending of the first "Saw" comes to mind, as well as the scene where Alan finds a tiger in the bathroom in "The Hangover" :lol

Oh yeah, and the naked asian guy who jumps out of the trunk

Oh, the end of Sleep Away Camp. I remember watching it on VHS like 25 years ago and being absolutely shocked into silence during the final scene.

I remember the first time I saw Audition- I couldn't believe what I was watching. Then I saw Visitor Q! :monkey4 Takashi Miike is out there. :lol

Another surreal moment was the OJ Simpson Bronco chase. I remember me and my friends watching that whole thing live. I don't think there's been anything weirder than that when it comes to live television.

Speaking of Asian films I just remembered 'Old Boy'.

When it's revealed the main character fell in love and was sleeping with his own daughter. Yowser
